COUNSELOR
|
|
The
counselors at Adventure North stay with us for eight weeks
which includes a one week training session, which prepares them
for the summer. They provide the guidance and care that ensure
our campers are having a safe and rewarding experience.
Counselors are also responsible for teaching and assisting
campers during camp activities. Counselors need to be able to
work effectively with children and always show enthusiasm. They
must have great communication, organization, and leadership
skills. Room and board provided.

SENIOR
COUNSELOR |
|
The senior counselors at
Adventure North Stay with us for 8 weeks which includes a one
week training session, that prepares them for the summer. This
position includes, camper and staff supervision. Applicants must
be able to delegate, problem solve, communicate well and work
well with all children. This position requires a lot of
responsibility and is not intended for everyone.

INSTRUCTORS |
|
Our
instructors stay with us for eight weeks which includes a one
week training session; this prepares our staff for the summer.
Applicants must be a minimum age of 17 years of age and have all
the proper certifications for their position. It is important
for instructors to be self confident, approachable, athletic,
enthusiastic, communicative and overall leaders to campers and
staff.

Aside from
your assigned positions, all instructors will have shared
responsibilities that will need to be completed daily. These
tasks include planning special events, running activities and
games, creating crafts, swimming with the children, yard
maintenance, cleaning, and sports equipment maintenance. Room
and board provided.

HEAD COOK |
|
Adventure
North Hockey Camp Cooks are experienced in food planning,
preparation and handling for a large group of 70 people. Room
and board provided.
|
|
Their
duties will include: |

Inventory
and purchasing of food |
|
|
Cooking 3
delicious healthy meals a day for a large group |
|
|
Cleaning
and organizing of kitchen area daily |
|
|
Dish

COOKS |
|
Adventure
North Hockey Camp Cooks are experienced to help prepare and run
meal times. They will work hand and hand with the Head Cook
learning the tricks of the trade.
