Adventure North
offers a residential hockey camp for your children, but what
about you ?Adventure North can help you with your Northern
Ontario vacation. There are numerous activities for parents and
families to do in this area from site seeing to great lake
fishing.

If staying
close by is preferred, Sudbury has endless activities for you to
enjoy. Some of the most popular tourist attractions Sudbury has
to offer are Science North, Dynamic Earth, Bell Park, the
Millennium Shopping Centre, Sudbury Downs Race Track and Casino
and many beautiful golf courses.
My parents Mary
and Brian Crowder have a two bedroom cottage next to their house
on Black Lake that they rent to our campers’ parents. Their
property is a five-minute drive from the arena and has a hot tub

preferred, there are many in the Sudbury area. Below are links

Killarney
Provincial Park is a 45minute drive from us and is home to
beautiful forests with hiking trails, picnic areas, lodging,
sightseeing, and best of all; home of the famous “Killarney Fish
and Chips.”
Fairbanks
Lake is a 45 minute drive from Adventure North. This spring-fed
lake is so clear it attracts snorkelers and scuba divers from
all across Canada. Fairbanks Provincial Park offers beautiful
walking trails that allow you to explore the wonderful
landscape. This park has over 150 camp sites; giving you plenty
of opportunity for your family to stay at this park. There is
also Fairbanks Resort which offers cabins and boats to rent.

Manitoulin
Island is the largest freshwater island in the world and is only
a 90minute drive from Adventure North Hockey Camp. This
beautiful quaint island attracts tourists annually from all
around the world. This majestic island offers a large variety of
resorts, campgrounds, sightseeing, hiking, golfing, fishing,
beaches and overall natural beauty. In addition, Manitoulin
Island has one of the oldest swinging bridges that bring the
mainland of LaCloche to the very popular Little Current. The
beautiful town of Little Current offers activities for the whole
family ranging from fun-in-the-sun on the beach to touring old
farming museums, Little Current has it all.
A 4 hour drive
from us is the City of Toronto, which offers theatre plays,
restaurants, night life, Canada’s Wonderland Theme Park, Blue
Jays Baseball games, Hockey Hall of Fame, the CN Tower and much
more.
